Summary:

The Director of Supply Chain and Procurement will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for procurement, supply chain, logistics, and inventory management within dental laboratories. This role will focus on optimizing purchasing and supply chain processes across multiple locations, strengthening supplier relationships, reducing costs, and ensuring efficient production and delivery of dental products. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain management, procurement, and strategic sourcing, specifically within the dental, medical device, or healthcare manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership & Integration: Oversee the development and implementation of standardized supply chain and procurement processes across all company locations to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Supplier Consolidation & Partnership Development: Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, establish strategic partnerships, and negotiate contracts to enhance service levels and pricing.
• Supply Chain Optimization: Enhance supply chain efficiency through improved demand planning, inventory control, logistics, and distribution in a dental laboratory and manufacturing setting.
• Cost Management & Efficiency: Drive cost reduction initiatives through supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing, and process improvements while maintaining product quality and regulatory compliance.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, quality standards, and procurement policies while managing risks associated with global supply chains.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations, technology, finance, and sales teams to align supply chain strategies with business growth and technology goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain and procurement management, preferably in dental laboratories, dental manufacturing, or medical devices.
• Proven ability to optimize supply chain processes and manage procurement activities across multiple sites
• Strong background in supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost reduction strategies.
• Proficiency in ERP and supply chain management software.
• Knowledge of FDA, ISO, and other regulatory requirements related to dental and medical manufacturing.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment focused on continuous improvement.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with dental materials, equipment, and supplier networks.
• Understanding of global supply chain trends and risk mitigation strategies.

Compensation:

$115,000 - $125,000 annual salary plus annual bonus opportunity
