Dental Digital Hybrid Designer (Exocad CAD/CAM)

Salary Range:  $75000 - $100000 year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use EXOCAD software to design dental prosthetics, including full arch implant-supported bridges, based on digital scans of patient's teeth and gums for the All-on-4 treatment concept.
  • Fabricate hybrid dentures that meet the necessary standards of fit, function, and aesthetics.
  • Collaborate with other members of the team and customers, including dentists and dental assistants, to ensure that all patient needs are met.
  • Perform quality control checks on designs to ensure that they meet the necessary standards.
  • Be able to effectively read dental RXs to design dental prosthetics.

General Responsibilities:

  • Follow detailed instructions from senior dental technicians and dentists to ensure that all designs are created to the proper specifications.
  • Work collaboratively with other dental technicians to ensure timely completion of cases.
  • Perform other duties as may be required or necessary.

Required Skills / Physical Demands:

  • Knowledge of fabricating dental restorations, including all-on-4, hybrid, and bar overdentures, using CAD/CAM technology.
  • Experience using EXOCAD software to design dental prosthetics for the All-on-4 treatment concept.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Physical demands may include sitting or standing for long periods of time, manual dexterity, and good eyesight.
  • Knowledge of dental anatomy, materials science, and occlusion.
  • Ability to interpret and follow dental prescriptions and technical specifications.
  • Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot issues that may arise during the design process.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with dentists and other dental professionals.
  • To have an understanding of teeth setup, anatomy, and morphology.
