Hallmark is a Halifax based dental lab serving dental clinics and their patients in Atlantic Canada. Our drivers are responsible for time-sensitive deliveries of small packages to Hallmark Dental Laboratory customers throughout the HRM. The driver must be skilled at managing their time to complete scheduled routes as efficiently as possible while being the face of the company, providing friendly, helpful and reliable customer service to the various offices and clinics serviced by the laboratory. 

Delivery Driver Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deliver cases to clinics by requested due date, including same day rush deliveries 
• Prioritize cases to ensure rushes are received or delivered within Hallmark’s promised turnaround time 
• Request routine maintenance and service appointments for the assigned vehicle, such as oil changes, brake inspections and seasonal tire changeovers 
• Report any issues, concerns or defects with the assigned vehicle 
• Operate the Hallmark vehicle under all provincial driving laws and always maintain posted speed and vehicle safety limits
• Communicate effectively with the company to ensure the effective delivery of products 

Delivery Driver Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license 
• Due to insurance purposes, the candidate must have a clear drivers abstract for a minimum of 6 years in Canada
• Punctuality and reliability. Must also be skilled at managing their own time to complete deliveries as efficiently as possible while keeping vehicles in good shape 
• Ability to work independently 
• Ability to coordinate with team members to ensure appropriate deliveries 
• Time management and customer service abilities.
• A capacity to drive, walk, lift, for long periods.
• Due to insurance purposes you must be over the age of 25
