Segal McCambridge, a national litigation firm, is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting/billing team based in our Tinley Park office.  This position offers exponential opportunity for someone looking to perform challenging work in a collaborative, team environment within a well-established, but growing firm.  This is an in-office position.

Essential Duties:

• Create checks and electronic payments;
• Prepare ad hoc reports;
• Reconcile vendor statements;
• Review/Input/Process Travel Expense reimbursements for attorneys;
• Upload expense details for billing;
• Answer vendor and internal inquiries on the status of invoices;
• Make copies of documentation for backup;
• Inputs account payable invoices into ELITE 3E system;
• File accounting documentation;
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by your supervisor(s).

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent;
• Some college in business or accounting preferred;
• A minimum of 1-2 years of related experience;
• Prior experience working in a law firm preferred;
• Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail;
• Ability to grasp mathematical concepts and analyze data;
• Proficiency with Excel and other MS Office applications.
