Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings and assist in procedures under the supervision of a dentist
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations
• Take x-rays to assist in treatment planning
• Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of documentation
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current RI state license to practice dental hygiene
• CPR certification
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
