Production Care Technician - Husbandry

Schedule: Sunday – Thursday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM  or Tuesday - Saturday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM 

Pay: $19–$21/hour based on experience

Work Environment: Hot, humid, hands-on

 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Monitoring insect health & habitat conditions
• Preparing food and feeding live insect colonies
• Cleaning and maintaining rearing environments
• Ensuring secure and stable housing for insects
• Following safety and care protocols
• Using tools like box cutters, tape guns, etc.

 What We’re Looking For:

• Comfortable working with live insects daily
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs, kneel, squat, and bend
• Reliable and able to work in a hot, humid, dusty environment
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Able to work independently and with a team
• Basic math and tool-handling skills
• Fluent in English with clear communication
• Willingness to adapt and take on tasks as needed
