The Bug Company is excited to announce an opening for an Assembly Pick Pack Specialist in our dynamic shipping team. This position is integral to the efficiency and effectiveness of our distribution and demands a dedicated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is an on-site role; please note that this is not a remote job. The right candidate will be instrumental in ensuring that our products are prepared, packaged, and shipped to meet the highest standards of quality and speed.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Accurately picking items to fulfill customer orders.
• Securely packing products to ensure they remain undamaged during transportation.
• Performing quality checks on picked orders to confirm they meet the required standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse workspace.
• Using a box cutter and tape gun to prepare packages for shipment efficiently and safely.
• Direct handling and packaging of live insects with care and attention to animal welfare.
• Cooperating with warehouse team members and participating in team meetings to improve processes.
• Following all safety guidelines and operational procedures in the warehouse.
• Providing feedback to supervisors regarding inventory and order issues.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a dusty environment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand in place, squat, kneel, bend, and carry frequently.
• Ability to problem solve and follow directions.
• Ability to understand and speak English fluently.
• Ability to count to 100 and perform simple math tasks.
• Ability to use a box cutter and tape gun safely and efficiently.
• Ability to perform duties with accuracy, care, and speed.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player.
• Must have attention to detail.
• Must be able to work directly with and handle live insects.

Shift

Sunday- Thursday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

**Hours will fluctuate based on the shipping schedules and company needs**
