Job Opening: Experienced Dental Assistant

Job Description:

OG Dental is currently seeking an Experienced Dental Assistant for a Full-Time position. This is not a Remote Job.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Manage supply inventory and ordering
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols
• Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as mixing materials for impressions and restorations
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health and safety regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program
• X-ray certification is a plus
• Familiarity with dental software programs
• Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed
