POSITION PURPOSE:

Position Duties:  

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to assess mental health needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Administer psychotropic medications and monitor their effects on patients.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling to individuals and groups.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Educate patients and families about mental health issues and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health.
• Current state RN license and certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
• Strong understanding of DSM-5 and psychiatric evaluation processes.
• Demonstrated experience in providing mental health assessment and treatment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical standards.
