POSITION PURPOSE: 

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our esteemed mental health care team. In this critical role, you will be tasked with diagnosing, treating, and managing a diverse range of psychiatric disorders. As a Psychiatrist, you will engage with patients to assess their mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans that may include therapy, medication management, and referrals to other specialists when necessary. You will also collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care delivery. Position Duties:  

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations to diagnose mental health disorders.
• Develop, implement, and oversee personalized treatment plans for patients.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment modalities as necessary.
• Prescribe medications as part of comprehensive treatment strategies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Participate in regular clinical meetings to discuss patient outcomes and adjustments in treatment.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and available treatment options.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited institution, with specialization in Psychiatry.
• Board certification and valid Oregon Medical License.
• Strong understanding of psychiatric disorders and treatment options.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
