Job Description

The Cow Creek Band of The Umpqua Tribe of Indians is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our team. This position is Full-Time and is not a Remote Job. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our community members by providing counseling and support services.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
• Assess clients' mental health needs and develop treatment plans
• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in need
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
• Stay current on best practices in mental health therapy and incorporate them into your work

Requirements

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
• Licensed or license-eligible as a Mental Health Counselor or Therapist
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Knowledge of mental health assessment and treatment techniques
