TASCO SECURITY IS GROWING!  We are looking for an organized and efficient stock clerk to work with us for 4months. You will be in charge of receiving, storing, and distributing parts and supplies, as well as keeping correct inventory records. Our ideal applicant is focused, strong, enthusiastic, and dedicated. 

Unboxing shipments, transferring items, stocking shelves, labeling goods, and establishing correct inventory records are all responsibilities in this role.  Computer literacy is required and an ability to quickly learn our industry-specific software program.

To be successful in this position, you need to have good organizational abilities and a thorough understanding of safety rules and basic inventory management procedures. Our ideal applicant has a strong work ethic and can work independently. In this role you will need to respond to many departments. Frequent and professional communication skills are a must.  

Stock Clerk Duties & Responsibilities:

• Use computer reports to determine stocking levels and usage
• Create purchase orders and place orders to anticipate need
• Receive deliveries, unpack, check for correctness and condition, stock neatly and timely
• Stock job and service tickets for technicians
• Replenish technician truck stock 2x daily
• Organize and maintain a clean, safe stockroom and receiving area
• Record necessary transfers of stock between warehouses
• Ship and track vendor returns as necessary
• Perform inventory counts with technicians and accounting staff as necessary
• Keep accurate and timely computer records
• Manage time well, stay on task

Stock Clerk Requirements:

• GED or high school diploma is necessary.
• Experience in stocking, shipping, logistics, or a similar sector for six months, preferred
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal communication
• Comprehension capabilities, both written and spoken
• Ability to work swiftly and correctly in a complicated, fast-paced workplace. 
• Physically capable of standing and walking for prolonged amounts of time.
• Computer literacy. Microsoft Office suite
• Physically capable of bending and squatting in order to lift and move things weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Frequently lift and shift full totes on high shelves and low shelves
