Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performing exams and evaluating X-rays to determine a patient’s dental health status.
  • Developing individualized treatment plans to address dental health issues effectively.
  • Filling cavities, applying crowns, installing bridges and implants to repair or replace damaged or missing teeth.
  • Administering or prescribing medications to alleviate pain and aid in the treatment of dental conditions.
  • Interacting professionally with patients, providing guidance and education on oral health care practices.
  • Measuring and fitting patients for specialized dental appliances.
  • Maintaining comprehensive and accurate patient records to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited dental program.
  • Valid state dental license (or the ability to obtain one before employment starts).
  • Strong understanding of dental surgery procedures and diagnostics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
  • A commitment to adhering to the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
