Duties and Responsibilities
- Performing exams and evaluating X-rays to determine a patient's oral health status.
- Developing individualized treatment plans to address specific dental issues.
- Filling cavities to restore teeth functionality and comfort.
- Expertly applying crowns, installing bridges, and fitting implants to repair and replace missing or damaged teeth.
- Administering and prescribing appropriate medications to alleviate pain and aid in the treatment of dental conditions.
- Interacting professionally with patients, providing guidance and education on oral hygiene and preventive dental care.
- Accurately measuring and fitting dental appliances to ensure patient comfort and appliance functionality.
- Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records, documenting all procedures and treatments performed.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license and adherence to all state and federal regulations regarding dental and health care.
- Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in dental procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Commitment to continuing education in dental practices and techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
