Nagy Family Dental Group, a community-centric dental practice, is excited to announce an opening for a part-time Registered Dental Hygienist. This in-office position enriches the lives of our patients by managing and promoting their oral health within our dedicated dental team. This position is not remote and requires the hygienist to work directly with patients and collaborate closely with dentists and other dental professionals at our facility. Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform oral health assessments and examinations including periodontal, dental, and oral cancer screenings.
• Clean, scale, and polish teeth to remove plaque, tartar, and stains, ensuring each patient's mouth is in a healthy state.
• Apply preventive materials to the teeth such as sealants and fluorides to protect teeth from decay.
• Develop and implement individualized dental care plans for patients.
• Educate patients on proper teeth brushing, flossing techniques, and overall oral hygiene.
• Capture dental x-rays and properly document patient’s dental history and treatment plans.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and well-stocked environment in line with our strict sanitation and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with dentists to plan for patient care and treatment.
• Assess the results of dental treatments and plan for future dental interventions.
• Engage in continuing education and training to ensure the highest level of practice and compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

• Current RDH license.
• Valid X-ray certificate.
• CPR & first aid certificate.
• Associate degree in dental hygiene.
• Strong understanding of relevant health and safety regulations.
• Exceptional communication and patient management skills.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for patient care.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
• Team-oriented attitude and ability to work collaboratively.
