We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our GROWING team on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with opportunity to add additional days! The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in delivering quality oral healthcare and ensuring a positive patient experience. We are fully digital, have an office therapy dog, and are an established private practice of over 30 years.

Hours: M-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm No Fridays, no weekends!

Hours are non-negotiable*

Responsibilities 

-Experience with placing cord, making temporary crowns, Cerec same day crowns, and Invisalign Preferred

- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs 

- Prepare patients for dental work by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping them - Maintain dental equipment and ensure a clean and sterile environment, sterilize instruments and prepare rooms. 

- Take xrays and intraoral scans on Itero and Cerec Primescan 

- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies

-Lab work for Cerec and other dental procedures. 

- Document patient care services by charting in patient records on Eaglesoft 

-Aiding front office with patient calls and other tasks. 

- Perform infection control procedures to maintain a safe environment

-Maintaining supply and lab case tracking, maintenance on dental equipment.

Experience

 - Minimum 1+ year of experience as a Dental Assistant

-Current certification as Registered Dental Assistant

-Current CPR /OSHA certification

-High school diploma or equivalent required 

- Proficiency in dental assistant techniques, infection control, HIPAA compliance, medical documentation.

- Experience with Eaglesoft is a plus 

- Knowledge of dental imaging techniques and equipment 

- Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques 

- Ability to perform X-rays and assist in restorative dental procedures placing cord, digital scanning Itero/Cerec Primescan. Cerec lab duties. 

- Strong understanding of infection control protocols

-Experience in customer service is a Plus!

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: Between 16-20 hours/ week
