Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Account Executive to join our team. The Account Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by actively reaching out to homeowners, commercial entities, and non-profit organizations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with door knocking, cold calling, attending home shows, participating in community events, generating point-of-sale interactions, seeking business referrals, and following up on hot leads to close deals. The position demands a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by achieving sales targets while contributing to our goal of creating a sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and Develop New Leads: Engage in door knocking, cold calling, and other outreach methods to create new sales opportunities with homeowners, businesses, and non-profits.
  • Present SunStar Solutions' Value Proposition: Clearly communicate the benefits of our solar and energy efficiency solutions, focusing on our tier-1 solar panels, 25-year manufacturer warranty, and financing options with no money down.
  • Participate in Community Events and Home Shows: Represent SunStar Solutions at various events, home shows, and expos to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Generate and Qualify Referrals: Build a network of business referrals and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to generate word-of-mouth business.
  • Manage Hot Leads and Point-of-Sale Interactions: Respond promptly to inbound leads from marketing campaigns and maintain regular follow-up to close deals.
  • Customize Solutions Based on Client Needs: Create personalized proposals and financing solutions to meet each customer’s specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with Installation and Operations Teams: Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth handovers and customer satisfaction from sale to installation.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple leads and tasks.
  • Ability to travel locally and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
