Dental Hygienist Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, taking X-rays, iTero wellness scans and applying fluoride treatments.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care.
• Conduct thorough dental assessments and screenings to identify any oral health issues or concerns.
• Assist the dentist during hygiene exams and maintain a sterile and organized work environment.
• Document patient treatment plans, progress, and any necessary follow-up appointments in dental software systems (Dentrix).
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.

Dental Hygienist Requirements:

• Valid state dental hygiene license 
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Proficiency in using Dentrix.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and the dental team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain accurate patient records.
• Follows CDC and OSHA guidelines.
• Laser certified or if recently graduated, laser certified within 3 months of hire.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Loves dogs (we have an office therapy dog) - also a must.

Schedule: 

• Hours 7am-5PM Monday-Thursday with 1 hour lunch break. 
• Day shift.
• No nights.
• No weekends.

License/Certification: Registered Dental Hygienist (Required)
