As a Sterilization Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the proper sterilization of dental instruments and equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in dental assisting or healthcare who are looking to contribute to the well-being of patients.

Responsibilities:
- Perform sterilization procedures for dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols
- Clean and disinfect treatment rooms, ensuring they are prepared for patient use
- Maintain inventory of sterilization supplies and order new supplies as needed
- Monitor and document sterilizer equipment performance and report any malfunctions or issues
- Adhere to strict infection control guidelines and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures
- Assist dental professionals with chairside duties as needed
- Provide support in taking X-rays, maintaining accurate records, and performing basic dental receptionist tasks

Requirements:
- Previous experience in dental assisting or related healthcare field preferred
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Strong understanding of anatomy and patient assessment techniques
- Proficient in taking vital signs and maintaining accurate patient records
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
