We are looking to hire a diligent and experienced Project Controls Specialist who will enhance our project deliverables and ensure our operations' cost-efficiency and effectiveness.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze project management plans and provide inputs for improvements.
- Monitor project schedules and budgets to ensure projects proceed without any deviations from the set boundaries.
- Collaborate with project managers and other department heads to strategize on more efficient project planning.
- Implement cost control measures to stay within the budgetary limits of projects.
- Forecast project needs and expenditures to ensure project readiness and financial allocation.
- Generate comprehensive reports on project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders consistently.
- Standardize project management practices across all projects and repetitively analyze successful project workflows for future adoption.
- Ensure compliance with both internal and external project specifications, including regulatory compliance.
- Utilize advanced project management tools and software to enhance accuracy in project scheduling and documentation.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide expert insight and feedback.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, tools, and techniques in project management.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project controls within a technical environment, preferably with exposure to electrical engineering projects.
- Exceptional proficiency with project management software like MS Project, Primavera P6, and related tools.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to scrutinize detailed project specifications and requirements.
- Demonstrated understanding of cost management and cost-efficiency strategies in large-scale projects.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Superb interpersonal skills essential for internal team collaboration and high-level negotiations with stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of industry practices, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements.
- Ability and willingness to attend and contribute to on-site meetings.
- Competence in technical writing, capable of producing clear guidelines and reports regarding project standards and progress.
- Focused attention to detail with a deep commitment to establishing and following exacting project controls and documentation processes.
