We are seeking a talented Electrical and Instrumentation Project Controls Specialist to join our dynamic team and contribute to the successful execution of our projects. The project is located in Nederland, TX and per diem will be offered.
As an Electrical and Instrumentation Project Controls Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and monitoring the performance of electrical and instrumentation projects. Your expertise in project controls, scheduling, and cost management will ensure that our projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules for electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project milestones.
- Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates and reports to project stakeholders.
- Analyze project costs and financials, identifying and mitigating potential budgetary issues.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project requirements are met.
- Implement and oversee project control processes, including risk management and change control.
- Prepare and present detailed project control documentation, including forecasts, cost reports, and schedule updates.
- Utilize project management software and tools to track and report on project performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in project controls within electrical and instrumentation projects.
- Strong understanding of project control methodologies, including scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and other relevant tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
