Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all electrical projects from conception to completion while adhering strictly to the code and safety standards.
  • Supervise and schedule the activities of electricians, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of systems to ensure functionality and safety.
  • Provide leadership and training to the electrical team, enhancing their skills and performance.
  • Manage the procurement of electrical supplies and equipment, ensuring budget compliance and project requirements are met.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures, ensuring all safety and performance standards are met.
  • Collaborate with other departmental heads to ensure cooperation and smooth running of processes.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including reports on inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Ensure timely communication and resolution of electrical issues while maintaining high customer service standards.
  • Integrate energy-efficient systems and promote sustainability initiatives within the department.
  • Stay updated with the latest electrical technology and industry trends to ensure the best practices are applied in all operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or a similar managerial role in the electrical industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with staff, executives, and external partners.
  • Must be willing to work in multiple areas and manage teams across different projects and locations.
  • Hands-on experience with computer-aided engineering (CAE) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software.
  • Ability to remain adaptive, flexible, and to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing training and professional development.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of delivering projects on time and on budget.
