Job Posting: Licensed Journeyman Electrician

Job Description:

Excel/EPI is currently seeking Licensed Journeyman Electricians to join our team. This position is Full-Time and is based on-site in Des Moines, IA. As a Licensed Journeyman Electrician, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial and industrial projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes
• Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout of electrical wiring
• Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to identify hazards and ensure safety
• Test electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide timely repairs
• Collaborate with other electricians, contractors, and project managers on site

Requirements:

• Valid state Journeyman Electrician license
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial and industrial electrical work
• Knowledge of local and national electrical codes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
