Job Description

Excel/EPI is currently seeking Licensed Journeyman Electricians to join our team in Des Moines, IA. This is a Full-Time position and per diem is offered. As a Licensed Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for safely installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Ensure proper grounding and bonding of electrical systems
• Coordinate with other trades to ensure proper installation of electrical components
• Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance

Requirements

• Valid journeyman electrician license
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed journeyman electrician
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of local and national electrical codes
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
