Job Description

Excel/EPI is currently seeking Licensed Journeyman Electricians to join our team in Des Moines, IA. This position is Full-Time and per diem is offered.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings
• Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers
• Identify electrical problems with testing devices and make necessary repairs
• Read blueprints or technical diagrams before installing systems
• Follow National Electrical Code regulations and safety standards
• Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as architects and plumbers, to ensure projects are completed on time

Requirements

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
