Excel/EPI has a job opening for Licensed Journeyman Electricians. This position is Full-Time and located in Des Moines, IA, and offers per diem.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Work collaboratively with other team members and contractors
- Provide excellent customer service and communication
- Maintain accurate records of work completed
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements
Requirements
- Valid Licensed Journeyman Electrician license
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the electrical field
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
- Proficiency in using electrical tools and equipment
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
