Job Description

Excel/EPI is seeking Licensed Journeyman Electricians for a Full-Time position located in Des Moines, IA. Per diem is offered.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical systems in commercial and residential buildings
• Perform electrical repairs and troubleshoot issues
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations
• Collaborate with other tradesmen and contractors on projects
• Provide training and mentorship to apprentice electricians
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Attend meetings and participate in ongoing training and development
• Adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the electrical field
• Knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments
• Willingness to undergo background checks and drug testing
