Job Description

Excel/EPI has a job opening for Licensed Journeymen Electricians . This position is Full-Time and is located in Des Moines, IA. We are seeking skilled electricians to join our team and contribute to our projects in the field.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in commercial, and industrial settings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
• Inspect electrical components to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and perform necessary repairs
• Collaborate with other trades and contractors on project sites
• Adhere to all local and national electrical codes and regulations

Requirements

• Valid journeyman electrician license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the electrical trade
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
