Associate Attorney

Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730 • Legal • Full-Time

Salary Range:  $50 - $150 hour

Full-time associate attorney needed.  Get ready to jump-start your career working for two seasoned attorneys.  The role is an associate attorney shared by two small law firms. The associate attorney position offers a unique learning opportunity to work in multiple areas of the law. One firm handles probate and business litigation. The other firm handles real estate and court fiduciary work.  This is not the typical, big-firm, chained-to-a-desk, minimum-billable hours position.  As an associate attorney you will have real responsibilities handling real cases from day one.  You will work part of the week for each firm.   You will handle a variety of law and motion work, transactional and estate planning work, probate and civil litigation, real property sales, and court hearings. We are seeking a licensed California attorney. Minimum two years experience is strongly preferred, but will consider a talented candidate with less experience. Must be proficient with standard legal computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat. 

Associate Attorney Duties and Responsibilities

  • Associate attorney will assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Research and analyze legal issues.
  • Participate in negotiations and advise on the legal aspects of real property transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of legal briefs and case documentation.
  • Attend meetings, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Associate Attorney Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing of the State Bar.
  • Minimum two years prior experience preferred.
