Financial Coordinator – Join Our High-Tech, Patient-Centered Dental Practice in Easton, PA

At our well-established, privately-owned dental practice in Easton, Pennsylvania, we’re committed to more than exceptional care—we create an experience rooted in comfort, dignity, and Unreasonable Hospitality. Our patients, many in their late 40s through 70s, trust us with their health and the meaningful relationships we build together. We’re currently seeking a Financial Coordinator to join our team in a mission-critical role—one that helps patients navigate their financial responsibilities with clarity and confidence while supporting the long-term health of the practice.

Role Summary:

As our Financial Coordinator, you will oversee and manage all financial transactions related to patient care. Your role is to ensure that every dollar flowing into and out of the practice is tracked with precision, transparency, and professionalism. You will collaborate closely with the clinical and front office teams to guarantee that our patients receive clear, accurate financial information—before and after treatment—while keeping the business side of the practice running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Post all charges and payments accurately and daily
  • Verify that all billing, coding, and payments are correctly attributed to the appropriate provider
  • Submit insurance claims with attention to maximizing patient benefits and ensure payment is received within 60 days of treatment
  • Hold team members accountable for consistent and upfront financial arrangements
  • Become an expert in our third-party financial partners (e.g., financing options) and assist both patients and teammates in utilizing them appropriately
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable using a variety of communication channels (phone, text, and mail)
  • Track and address insurance plans that routinely underpay or delay claims; communicate these patterns to the team to improve financial transparency with patients
  • Clearly explain dental benefits and limitations to patients in a courteous, confident, and educational manner
  • Be an advocate and expert on our In-Office Membership Plan, ensuring accurate monthly updates and patient enrollment

Who We’re Looking For – Our Dream Financial Coordinator:

  • You are highly organized, detail-obsessed, and love a good spreadsheet as much as a meaningful conversation
  • You have a talent for keeping financial records clean, accurate, and accounted for—no loose ends
  • You can speak with patients and teammates alike with kindness, patience, and clarity—especially when discussing money
  • You take ownership of your role and are not afraid to (politely) hold others accountable
  • You’re tech-savvy and comfortable navigating dental software, insurance portals, and third-party payment tools (experience with Open Dental is a plus!)
  • You enjoy working in a supportive, patient-first environment where excellence and hospitality go hand in hand

What You’ll Love About Working With Us:

  • You’ll be part of a true Team—not “staff.” We support each other, collaborate closely, and take pride in doing meaningful work together.
  • We’re committed to the growth and well-being of every individual, both personally and professionally. Your development matters here.
  • Our competitive, well-rounded benefits package reflects the value we place on our Team Members and the care you provide every day.
  • You’ll be working in a practice that is on the leading edge of dentistry—from our clinical care to our technology to the way we connect with patients.
  • We’ve built a culture of trust, respect, and collaboration, where your voice is heard, your contributions are valued, and your work makes a difference.
