Job Description: Refrigeration Technician
Overview:

Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems, including commercial refrigerators, freezers, ice machines, and other related equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration system issues, providing prompt and effective repairs.
Perform routine maintenance on refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
Monitor system operation to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, including proper refrigerant handling.
Work with customers to explain maintenance procedures and the proper operation of refrigeration equipment.
Keep detailed records of service work, parts used, and time spent on each job.
Stay up-to-date with industry advancements, refrigeration technologies, and regulatory changes.
Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
Respond to emergency service calls and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
EPA 608 Certification for Refrigerant Handling.
Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician, with at least 3 years in the field.
Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, and maintenance practices.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Experience working with both commercial and residential refrigeration systems.
Knowledge of HVAC systems and their integration with refrigeration systems.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and refrigeration service equipment.
Strong commitment to safety and environmental regulations.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
