Job Description: Journeyman Plumber
Overview:

Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances, in residential and commercial buildings.
Interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing components.
Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals to complete plumbing installations and repairs.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service by explaining the scope of work, answering questions, and offering advice on plumbing maintenance.
Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, new technologies, and local plumbing codes.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Journeyman Plumber License.
Proven experience as a plumber, with at least 4 years of hands-on experience.
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and codes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Experience with both residential and commercial plumbing.
Familiarity with HVAC systems and related plumbing components.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Experience with customer service and maintaining positive client relationships.
