Job Summary

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Minot Dental Partners. We are looking for full-time or part-time. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive dental hygiene care to our patients. Our ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Dental Hygienist Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling and root planing 
• Take and develop dental x-rays and perform other diagnostic tests as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral health care instructions
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation as required
•  Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and medical history accurately in the electronic health record system
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care

Dental Hygienist Requirements

• Valid Dental Hygienist license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in using dental software such as Eaglesoft for appointment scheduling and patient records management
• Experience with medical imaging software for capturing and analyzing dental x-rays
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy to effectively communicate with patients and other healthcare professionals
• Excellent patient assessment skills to identify oral health issues and recommend appropriate treatment plans

Dental Hygienist Benefits and Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $39.00 to $42.00 per hour based on qualifications and experience. In addition to the salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, Flexible schedule.
