As a member of our production department, the Gutter Technician will focus on installing and maintaining gutter systems, while also addressing associated roofing and siding repair needs on client properties. Please note, this is not a remote job and requires on-site attendance.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accurately measure, cut, and install gutters and downspouts.
  • Inspect and replace damaged gutters, ensuring seamless functionality.
  • Carry out regular maintenance and cleaning of gutter systems.
  • Work on roofing and siding tasks as needed, providing comprehensive property solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams to plan and implement effective project workflows.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company guidelines during project execution.
  • Communicate effectively with homeowners to explain job status and manage expectations.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed work reports and records of materials used.
  • Assist in estimating job costs and providing detailed quotations to clients.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated with industry techniques and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Gutter Technician or similar role in the construction or roofing industry.
  • Practical knowledge of tools and equipment used in gutter installation and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of current construction and safety regulations.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks under various weather conditions.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; professional certification in a related field is preferred.
  • Capability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and certification.
