Job Description

We are currently seeking a part-time dental assistant to join our team. This position has the potential to lead to a full-time position with increased responsibilities. Previous experience in dental assisting is not necessary, but a good attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the dentist during dental procedures
• Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments
• Taking and developing dental x-rays
• Greeting and preparing patients for treatment
• Providing oral hygiene instructions to patients
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Performing basic accounting tasks
• Handling administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid certification in dental assisting (preferred, but not required)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to work well within a team
• Flexible schedule
