Full/Part Time Powersports Sales Consultant

Salary Range:  $50000 - $125000 year

Murray Powersports is seeking to hire a positive, experienced, highly motivated, and team oriented Powersports Sales Consultant. Previously the Ye Olde Cycle Barn, we have been in business in this community for over 30 years and are still locally owned and locally operated.  This is a great opportunity for somebody who is truly passionate about Powersports!


Primary Duties: Include, But Not Limited To;

  • Actively engage with customers to determine their powersports needs and provide expert advice and recommendations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring excellent communication and follow-up.
  • Demonstrate product features and benefits, highlighting key selling points to assist customers in making informed purchase decisions.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly sales targets through proactive selling techniques and creating a sense of urgency among customers.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings to effectively advise customers.
  • Facilitate product demonstrations, test drives, and assist with product financing options.
  • Handle sales inquiries and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop and execute sales strategies and promotional activities.
  • Accurately process sales transactions and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Maintain a clean and organized showroom that showcases our wide range of powersports products.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the sales manager.


Powersports Sales Consultant Requirements: Include, But Not Limited To;

  • Clean Driving Record and Valid PA Driver's License
  • Knowledge and personal experience with powersports products, including motorcycles, ATVs, & side-by-sides.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with customers and effectively negotiate sales.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Motorcycle license preferred.
  • Proficiency in using sales software, CRM systems, and basic computer applications.
  • Strong customer service mentality, with the ability to actively listen to customer needs and provide suitable solutions.
  • Results-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed sales target
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple customer inquiries and sales transactions efficiently.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate customer needs.
  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in powersports or similar industry preferred.
