Murray Powersports is seeking to hire a positive, experienced, highly motivated, and team oriented powersports technician. Previously the Ye Olde Cycle Barn, we have been in business in this community for over 30 years and are still locally owned and locally operated. Primary Duties: Include, But Not Limited To;
- Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing our customer's vehicles/equipment.
- Identify problems with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment.
- Present the best solution to repair our customer’s vehicles properly
- Perform maintenance and repair on customer vehicles
- Repairing broken or worn mechanical and technology components
- Perform basic powersports vehicle repair and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotations
- Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors, and other parts
- Directs, coordinates, and participates in performing customer service activities as dictated by workload
- Ensure that all performed work is to proper specifications
- Complete repairs and test drive promptly.
- Assist other employees as needed.
Powersports Service Technician Requirements: Include, But Not Limited To;
- Able to bend, climb, reach, kneel, etc. for extended periods
- Prior experience working on ATV'S - Side X Sides - Snowmobiles - Motorcycles- Trailers
- Prior forklift experience is plus
- Motorcycle License/Inspection a plus, or may have a motorcycle license and be able to take the motorcycle inspection course
- Must be able to lift objects that weigh as much as 50 pounds
- Prepared to get an additional certification as needed
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation
- Own your own basic mechanics tools
- Reliable and self-motivated
