Mitchell Dental, a renowned dental practice known for delivering outstanding oral care, is excited to announce a career opportunity for a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Dental Front Office professional. This full-time position offers a dynamic working environment where patient care is at the forefront of our operations. We are located in the heart of the community and are committed to providing comprehensive dental services to our patients. Please note that this is an onsite role and not eligible for remote work.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet patients in a caring, professional, and courteous manner upon their arrival.
  • Effectively manage multiple phone lines by answering queries, scheduling appointments, and providing information about services.
  • Check voicemails and emails consistently throughout the day to ensure all patient communication is acknowledged and responded to in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and organize appointment schedules to maximize efficiency and fill gaps as necessary to optimize daily operations.
  • Verify insurance benefits for patients to ensure clarity of coverage and to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
  • Prepare and present detailed treatment plans and financial arrangements to patients, ensuring they understand their care path and associated costs.
  • Handle daily financial tasks including collecting and posting payments, and submitting insurance claims to ensure accurate billing and payment.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 1 year of dental front office experience to ensure familiarity with dental office procedures and patient care coordination.
  • Proficiency in using Dentrix software is essential for efficient management of office tasks and patient data.
  • Strong communication skills are crucial for effective interaction with patients, team members, and insurance representatives.
  • A friendly and outgoing personality, combined with a professional appearance, to represent our practice positively within the community.
  • Ability to perform multitasking efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and learning within the dental field.
