QAQC Doc Control (Onsite)

Summary - The QAQC Doc Control role will be responsible for the management and organization of any documentation that is transmitted from the company. This role is crucial to ensuring that all documents are efficiently received and delivered, all internal and stakeholder security standards are followed, and regulations are updated and maintained. This role will require that you are proficient in communicating with multiple team members internal and external, daily.  

Essential Functions: As QAQC Doc Control, you will be responsible for the overall regulation and standard development of documents produced by the company. Project management will provide documents and time-sensitive information for release. You are expected to collaborate with the design project management on posting procedures and standard compliance. You will also be the main point of communication when transmitting information and or files to Industrial Designs customers and stakeholders. In this position, you will be expected to complete the following tasks:

  • Review design package standards based on the internal and external standards provided to you.  
  • Development of document history and archival.
  • Attend recurring meetings with Industrial Design project management.                                                                                                                                                    
  • Following internal QAQC processes and providing feedback to Industrial Design project management.  
  • Generate transmittal forms and posting emails based on templates provided.
  • Supply QAQC feedback documentation for Industrial Design project management internal distribution. 
  • Self-sufficient daily task management.
  • Primary point of contact for escalated client issues/solutions. 
  • Providing a positive customer service experience with internal and external personnel.
  • Maintain, archive, and produce internal project email distributions based on project information provided. 
  • Email archival and documentation based on the project program. 

 Physical Demands - Sitting, standing, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling

 Required education and experience: 

  • High school Diploma or GED
  • Two (2) year associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, OneNote, etc.)
  • Customer service experience. 

 Preferred education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering studies
  • Ten (10) years of practical experience in a Database or Document Controls role.

This position requires United States work authorization and is not eligible for remote work.
