    Position Summary: 

    Industrial Design is looking for a Construction Coordinator to oversee the development and delivery of large, overly complex products related to the semiconductor industry. 

    The Construction Coordinators support the Project Manager. The variety of duties requires that the Construction Coordinator be organized, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator.

    Position responsible for development, training and supporting general standards with disciplined leads.

    Duties and Responsibilities: 

    1. Reviews shop drawings, plans, specifications, material requirements and project data through the duration of the project to ensure quality and specification compliance.
    2. Performs various tasks to evaluate daily production to accurately track project performance.
    3. Meets with project management to review contractor production reporting.
    4. Provides technical input for project constructability.
    5. Manages all Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals, as needed by project.
    6. Maintain control of post design project documentation
    7. Assist Pr oject Managers as required with various tasks related to construction administration.
    8. Amalyze drawings, plans, and requirements to develop a full understanding of the project.
    9. Build a strong relationship with the customer and communicate consistently through the process.
    10. Develop work breakdown structure of design projects to enter in QuickBase.
    11. Develop estimates based on design package for multiple disciplines (architectural, mechanical, I&C, Electrical, Structural, etc.)
    12. Provide consistently great service while managing multiple projects.

    • Requirements and Qualifications
      1. Bachelor’s degree required, bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or other relevant majors.
      2. 2+ years of construction experience in operations/project management, estimating, and purchasing.
      3. First-rate communication and customer-relations skills
      4. High level of attention to detail and understanding of building science principles
      5. Ability to manage a multitude of projects while maintaining high standards.
      6. Quick Base Software, preferred.
