Pay: Based on Experience
Schedule: Full-time | Monday – Friday | Weekends as needed
American Roofing & Waterproofing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Blueprint Reader to join our dynamic sales team!
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with commercial roofing or blueprint reading experience who’s looking to grow into an outside sales role.
What You’ll Be Doing:
✔️ Analyze and interpret construction blueprints and specifications with precision
✔️ Generate accurate material measurements and quantities using on-screen estimating software
✔️ Calculate square footage, linear footage, and item counts
✔️ Research and resolve questions related to finishes and materials
✔️ Stay organized and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment
✔️ Communicate professionally via phone, email, and in person
What We’re Looking For:
Roofing knowledge or experience is proffered
Proficiency in blueprint reading and construction documents
Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, PDF, Outlook
Fast learner who follows procedures and maintains high standards

Requirements:
Ability to commute or relocate to Phoenix, AZ 85040
2 years of blueprint reading experience (preferred), but not a deal breaker
Valid driver’s license (preferred)
Bonus Opportunity:
We are also open to internship scenarios for students currently studying blueprint reading or construction management and looking to gain valuable hands-on experience.
