American Roofing & Waterproofing LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Production Manager with a strong background in construction management, particularly in roofing. The ideal candidate will ensure the successful completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards, safety protocols, and efficient workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules.
- Coordinate with sales and estimating teams to ensure accurate project scopes and timelines.
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead and manage a team of roofers, subcontractors, and support staff.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review project progress, address challenges, and identify areas for improvement.
- Quality Control:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure all roofing solutions meet industry standards and client expectations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to identify any issues or deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
- Safety Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, codes, and standards, including OSHA requirements.
- Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries on job sites.
- Resource Management:
- Manage resources efficiently, including materials, equipment, and labor, to optimize project performance and minimize waste.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to job sites.
- Client Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the duration of projects.
- Provide regular updates on progress, address any concerns or questions, and ensure overall client satisfaction.
- Financial Oversight:
- Monitor project budgets closely, tracking expenses and revenues, and identifying opportunities to optimize costs and improve profitability.
- Work closely with the finance department to prepare accurate project budgets and financial reports.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on roofing.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale roofing projects from start to finish.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
- Thorough understanding of construction industry regulations, codes, and standards, with a commitment to safety and quality.
