No previous experience is required, as we will provide on-the-job training for the right candidates. 

Description:

As a Roofing Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience in the construction industry, specifically in the field of roofing. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their career in construction and learn the necessary skills to become a successful roofer.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of various roofing systems
• Learn how to handle roofing materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently
• Help with the measurement and cutting of roofing materials according to specifications
• Assist in the preparation of roofing surfaces by removing old materials and cleaning the area
• Follow instructions from experienced roofers and participate in on-the-job training
• Perform general labor duties, such as carrying materials, cleaning work areas, and organizing tools
• Adhere to safety guidelines and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others

Requirements:

• Physically fit and able to perform strenuous tasks, including lifting 50+ pounds of heavy objects on a ladder and working at heights
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced roofers
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow safety procedures
• Reliable and punctual with a strong attention to detail
• Endure the summer heat
• Valid Drivers License
