American Roofing & Waterproofing is currently seeking a talented individual to join our team as a New Construction Estimator. This full-time position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Estimate costs for new roofing construction projects
Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare accurate estimates
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure accurate estimates
Review construction plans and specifications to identify potential cost-saving opportunities
Attend site visits and meetings to gather information for accurate estimates
Prepare and submit bids to clients in a timely manner
Update and maintain database of project estimates
Provide support to project teams as needed
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating and/or roofing estimating
Proficiency in estimating software such as Procore or PlanSwift
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
