American Roofing & Waterproofing is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of our organization by managing all aspects of accounts payable processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices for accuracy
• Review and reconcile vendor statements
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries
• Prepare and process weekly check runs
• Assist with month-end closing activities
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Assist with ad-hoc financial projects as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related field
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Associate's degree in Accounting or related field
