We are looking for a skilled and motivated Roofing Mechanic to join our roofing crew. Your essential responsibility will be to maintain various roofing systems and keep them in working order. You will also provide fundamental roofing installations on residential or commercial roofing systems. You will inspect and repair roofs and fix or replace any damaged or leak with suitable materials and tools.

Our ideal candidate should be in great physical condition and able to handle and carry heavy tools and materials upon the roofs. Furthermore, you should obtain a solid knowledge of construction and materials used in this job, as well as strong attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Roofing Mechanic Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain roofing systems and keep them in working order
• Provide a dry and efficient environment for buildings or houses
• Inspect the structure of the roof to provide the best actions
• Calculate labor costs, materials, and time needed
• Provide clients with the above-mentioned information
• Assemble, cut, and measure the materials to fit around vents, edges, chimneys, etc.
• Replace and repair damaged or rotted roof areas
• Ensure that the roof is waterproof and suitable for every weather condition
• Follow and stick to all safety rules and regulations
• Finish projects within the timeline

Roofing Mechanic Requirements:

• The license in roofing or similar construction field
• Proven experience in roofing or other construction jobs
• Experience and knowledge of using different tools and equipment
• Great physical condition and strength
• Good balance and agility
• Knowledge of the importance of safety rules
• Problem-solving and attention to detail
