We are looking for an advanced technician skilled in all areas of the dental laboratory for this highly sought-after position in the CAD/CAM department. The CAD/CAM department team members are the hands that move the majority of our cases though the facility. Responsibilities include scanning and designing different types of restorations; abutments, implant bridges, full contour crowns, hybrids, screw-retained crowns, model builder, and implant studio. This demanding and fast-paced team is responsible for almost all restorations in our facility. Fast turnaround times and high-quality restorations are required in the CAD/CAM department processes, making this position both challenging and rewarding.
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail
- Experience in CAD/CAM software 3Shape, Exocad, Dental Wings, Surgical Guide planning
- Understanding and experience of operation of milling machines.
- Ability to work well with deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to follow and understand doctors order forms and preferences
- Certified Dental Technician (CDT) certification preferred but not required
- PTC Certifications preferred
- GED/High School Diploma or better
- Ability to speak and understand English (Bilingual English/Spanish)
- Computer literate: MS Office package (Excel, Power Point, Word)
- 5+ years' experience
