Immediate Full-Time opening.  Bruno Painting (Portsmouth, RI), an established and growing professional full-service painting company, is now accepting applications for a fast-paced, people-oriented, and urgent individual to join our team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Timely Estimating

  • Provide clear and concise painting estimates for residential clients within 48 hours
  • Follow up with prospects and customers in a quick and helpful way
  • Create project estimates using our proven production rates and systems
  • Keep estimates profitable by accounting for all steps of the painting process including set-up, additional steps, hours, minimums
  • Answer warm, incoming leads and discuss projects with clients to provide estimates
  • Maintain excellent communication with clients, production team, and office staff

Administrative

  • Timely and accurately update company CRM and other tracking tools
  • Follow company sales systems and process to include accurate follow-up, documentation, and client communication.

Internal / Company Collaboration

  • Attend 2 monthly sales and marketing meetings 
  • Attend ongoing sales training with internal and external trainers
  • Meet with production staff on the first day of each job for a thorough job start
  • Clarify, answer questions, brainstorm solutions with production staff throughout projects
  • Participate in company team and community events

Relationship Building

  • Follow up and occasionally check in with existing and past customers to improve relationships and see how else we might help

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Formal education is not as important as quality work and overall fit with our culture and methods.
  • 2+ years of in-home sales experience required, preferably in home improvement and/or residential painting.
  • Comfortable and willing to use current cloud-based computer and phone technology.
  • Ability to pass criminal background checks
  • Current driver’s license and insurability
  • Reference of past experience.
  • An assessment for company fit will be part of the hiring process.


SCHEDULE :

  • Generally 8:00 – 4:30, with occasional weekends, evenings, and early morning as required. 
  • Working primarily in clients’ homes (70%) and some time in our office (30%).  

COMPENSATION: 

  • Base Salary plus commission
  • First year expected income $60,000
  • Long term potential of $85,000+ 
  • 6 paid holidays
  • Vacation / PTO accrues up to 1 week during your first year.
