DENTAL HYGIENIST

TIMBERRIDGE DENTAL in Heber City, UT is looking for a full-time Dental Hygienist. This job is great for a dental hygienist who lives in the area or close to, since commuting in the winter could be challenging.

Some details about our practice and dental hygienist position:

• There are two dentists at our practice, the owner (myself-Dr. Tyler May) and Dr. Mark Bowles-an incredible doc with 25 plus years of experience. We love our hygienists and the value they bring to our practice.
• Our hygienists are encouraged to ask for instruments as needed, 
• Cavitrons are in each hygiene room
• Single column (typically 1 hour per patient, or as needed per the hygienist)
• Software includes Dentrix and Dexis
• Teamwork is essential!

Dental Hygienist Responsibilities

• Educating patients on effective oral hygiene
• Performing SRPs and Prophys while keeping the patient comfortable 
• Taking quality xrays and intraoral photos
• Creating hygiene treatment plans for periodontal patients
• Helping the office to complete daily cleaning tasks
• Whenever possible helping with sterilization

Dental Hygienist Requirements

• Must be board certified
• Having a licence to administer anesthetic is preferred
• CPR certified
• Being a Team player
