Live In Program Manager is responsible for managing faith based transitional housing program. You will help guide women, and children by equipping families in a secure and nurturing environment to learn daily living skills, assisting with program compliance and goals. As our Program Manager you will affirm a strong walk in the Christian faith and lives a Biblical Life
- Willing to acknowledge, adhere, and promote Agape’s Embrace core values.
- Proven leadership skills, preferably a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role for the position.
- Strong case management, therapy, coaching skills required. BH background requested.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with a marginalized population which would include homeless, addicted, or prison reentry.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Manage a caseload of three family residents.
- Provide coaching, mentoring and accountability. You’re their biggest cheerleader!
- Share the ministry's Christian Core values with residents and volunteers. Facilitates volunteer meet and greets and training.
- Coordinate case management.
- Ensure residents adhere to Agape’s Embrace policies.
- Assist residents with financial stability, career development, and personal and spiritual growth.
- Work with Executive Director to ensure program compliance, reporting and growth.
- Share and facilitate daily Christian scripture teaching, Bible study and encourage faith growth and development.
- Create and maintain staffing schedules and activity schedules.
- Administrate needs for the house and families, ie.. grocery shopping, community pick ups, maintenance scheduling.
- Oversee day to day operations of house and program. Interacts daily with public and other agencies.
- Requirements:
- Experience working in a nonprofit environment, transitional housing or group home or behavioral housing sector experience a plus.
- Microsoft Office experience a must
- Strong computer skills required
- Organizational, critical thinking skills required
- Strong faith walk with sound Christian doctrine.
- Work weekends hours/evenings
